Easy interface! Love the light intensity options!
I’ve really been enjoying my sleep light over the past year that I have had it. No glitches, a solid and clean interface, and the options available for the light intensity are awesome for reading or waking up too. Would love to be able to choose more music options for waking—like Apple Music or meditative sounds from other apps—but it’s definitely not a deal breaker.

Useless / Ultra-Fragile WiFi Connectivity
I’ve 5 or 6 other WiFi devices that connect and perform flawlessly — all the time. But not the SmartSleep light paired with this app. If one sneezes in the wrong direction, the WiFi connection drops. And, lately, I’m getting some funky “wrong password” error message when trying to re-connect the device, even though I am absolutely NOT using the wrong password. It’s so impossibly irritating.. and useless.

Hi there, thank you for sharing your experience with the SleepMapper app and your Somneo. We regret to hear that the connection between the app and your device regularly drops and that you're now also facing an issue with your account. This is far from ideal, we can imagine. We'd kindly recommend you to try to login and re-connect your Somneo again in a few days and to contact us via the support tab in the app or via Philips.com/support in case you then still experience issues. We'd be happy to investigate these further and see how we can resolve these.
By the way, there are a few things to check to troubleshoot the connectivity issues: 1. Is the Somneo searching for a Wi-Fi signal (the WIFI symbol on the Somneo will be blinking) or does the app just not allow you to control the Somneo? Please make sure the Somneo has a proper WIFI signal not blocked by walls or nearby objects. 2. Does your router offer a 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wifi to connect to? If so, they often appear both in the list of Wi-Fi networks with the same name and the addition "2.4GHz" and "5GHz" respectively. Please make sure you connect to the 2.4Ghz network. 3. Is "Wi-Fi Assist" activated on your iPhone? Go to Settings > Cellular or Settings > Mobile Data. Then scroll down and tap the slider for Wi-Fi Assist. Wi-Fi Assist will switch to a cellular data when your phone's wifi connection is weak, which means in that case you can't control your Somneo. See also https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205296 4. Can you try to restart your phone and try again? 5. Can you try to un-plug and plug in the wake-up light? 6. Can you try to reset your wake-up light (using the pin on the back side of the device) and re-install the app?

App is only in German
How does it switch to English.? It works fine without an account. However I would like to track my sleep etc I am only giving one star for the app itself.
Update: the developer is absolutely no help. Switch my phone to English ? It is did this show up in English? The app is making Phillips look really bad I can’t register an account everything else is in German!! Do your self a favour don’t make your customers look like idiots. I don’t even speak or right German!!
