SmartSwap replaces the endless "anyone want my Saturday night?" messages with a real marketplace. Import your schedule, list the shifts you'd rather not work, and see every shift your coworkers have put up, filtered to the units and roles you actually work.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Import your schedule. Sign in to MySchedule from inside the app and your shifts come across in seconds. Nothing typed in by hand.
2. List a shift you want to give up, and say what you'd like in return.
3. Browse and request. Offer your own shifts swaps in exchange, and see at a glance which combinations actually work.
4. Agree and submit. Once a trade is accepted by your colleague, keep track of submissions and approvals. Enable notifications and reminders so you don't miss a trade or submission.
WHAT YOU GET
Conflict protections! Overlapping shifts and back-to-back shifts get marked, so you don't accept something you can't work. No more double-checking if you already work that day!
Say what you'll take back. Only work days? Flag the shift types you'd accept in return (days, evenings or nights) and whether you're open to a straight swap. Your colleagues see it immediately on your listing, so no more needless rejections.
A calendar that reads at a glance. Days, evenings and nights are colour coded, with your listings, requests and pending trades marked in place.
Filters that stick. Save filter tabs for the hospitals, units, roles and shift types you care about, and the marketplace opens where you left it.
Notifications for what matters: a new request on your shift, an accepted or declined trade, and reminders when a swap's submission window opens or the deadline is closing in.
Manual swap records. Traded with someone who isn't on SmartSwap? Log it here so your calendar and your reminders stay accurate.
Undo. Plans change. Either side can request an undo, and the shifts go back to their original owners once both confirm.
Chain tracking. When one trade depends on another, SmartSwap shows you the whole chain so nothing gets submitted out of order.
Report and block. Blocks apply in both directions and take effect immediately.

YOUR CREDENTIALS STAY YOURS
Importing takes you to your health authority's own sign-in page in a separate browser session that is cleared afterwards. SmartSwap never sees or stores your MySchedule password and ID.
Sign in with Apple or Google. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time from your profile.
