Laggy and Unresponsive but Semi-useful for Scene Points

Recently it’s become nearly impossible to scroll through the different offers. Scrolling works fine in other apps (it’s not my phone). Have never been able to verify my Scene account but offers still load up fine.Definite room for improvement.

Shopping list is just a simple list where you can type any text with no relationship to products. Store locator works, but not worth a dedicated app. No store inventory. Only old-school, static flyers. Air Miles seems to be the real purpose of the app, but that’s useless to me.

Since the app was updated the changes no longer make it easy to create shopping list and you can no longer just click on the flyer to add to list. Additionally lots of items can get duplicated. It’s nice there are categories however many items do not end up in the right category

A joke in poor taste

This app is a joke. I’ve switched to the Lowblaws chain (Superstore via the PC Express app) for all of my grocery shopping, as they are a chain that takes online ordering and curb side pickup seriously - even before the pandemic. For a major chain like Sobeys to be so far behind on this is inexcusable.The response “that’s not the goal of our app” just further reinforces the conclusion that Sobeys is not shifting with customer demand, and that they are not even remotely interested in doing so. Ashamed, but not surprised that this Nova Scotia based company is lagging behind, and happy to give my business to more forward-looking retailers.
