You know the moment. The WiFi password is scrawled on a chalkboard, laminated in a welcome pack, or Blu-Tacked behind the kettle in the Airbnb. You type it carefully. Wrong. Three times.
TapFi ends that. Point your camera at the sign and you're connected. That's the whole app.
WHAT IT ACTUALLY DOES
TapFi reads the network name and password off almost anything: printed cards, chalkboards, stickers, receipts, and handwriting that would embarrass a doctor. Then it joins the network for you.
It also knows the ways signs lie. Spaces that aren't really in the password. Capitals that are actually lowercase. Two networks listed and no hint which one is real. TapFi quietly tries the sensible variations until one connects, and only keeps the one that actually worked.
WiFi QR codes are read instantly, on your device. Hidden networks that don't broadcast their name work too.
THEN IT GETS BETTER
Every network you join lands in an encrypted list, so next visit is one tap. And when someone asks for the WiFi, stop spelling it out across the room. TapFi turns any saved network into a clean, printable QR card. AirDrop it, save it to Photos, or print it and stick it by the door. Guests scan it with their camera. They don't need the app.
If you run a cafe, a B&B, or a spare room that's never empty, that card alone pays for the app in a weekend.
THE BORING BUT IMPORTANT BIT
Passwords live in your iPhone's Keychain, encrypted, on your device. No account. No ads. No tracking. No subscription. You buy it once, and it reads WiFi signs forever. That's the deal.
