App works well! Would be great if it had a louder/longer system independent alarm and also a widget for iOS.

Okay, so this device is just awesome. So accurate. Plus, the charting lets you see exactly what is going on and how the heat levels change over time as you adjust vents. Four channels lets you see what is going on with the heat from the grill and the heat of what you are cooking. Including multiple proteins, that might be cooking at different rates.
I would never use my grill without this.
Game changer
We monitor our upright deep freeze temperature and our home indoor temperature. The freezer door has, on occasion, remained ajar because something in the freezer obstructed the door from sealing tightly. We live in Canada where -30 F is not uncommon. If our furnace fails our waterlines could freeze in a matter of hours. That would be a disaster. We can now leave our home unattended during our winter ski holiday without worrying about returning to a mess. Love these monitors.
