From time to time there is an Olympic tournament for backgammon programs. We have persuaded the creator of the three-time winner BGBlitz to make his AI available to True Backgammon users. This AI is a world class opponent for those who want to play only the best. And it is a patient tutor. BGBlitz offers a tutor mode that will point out moves that are not optimal and show you better ones. It also gives you statistics, and you can export your current game to the common SGF format to analyse it with other applications like XG2, BGBlitz or gnuBG.

To cut a long story short, we have put a lot of effort into this application, not only in the gameplay, but on every level. If you choose it, we are sure you will not be disappointed.

I recommend this product. Take care to couple with or decouple it from Apple Game Center otherwise Apple will ask you to decide to join or not every time you open the app.

I'm sorry that you have an issue with GameCenter. The request you see is done by macOS itself if an app is registered for GameCenter. Normally after pressing Cancel three times, macOS will not ask again. If this is not the case for you, please enter macOS settings and logout from GameCenter. Restart your device, and, if you use GameCenter, login again. This should hopefully fix the issue.

Start receiving very annoying EMAILS from CASINO and BITCOIN web sites short time after playing this game.Had to delete the app for obvious security reasons.App deleted no more EMAILSBunch of CROOKS!

This definitely has nothing to do with the True Backgammon app. The app does not even have your email address, so no idea where these emails are coming from, but not from installing True Backgammon.

Most rigged game ever

The “random” dice generator is so skewed in favour of the computer, that it is not even fun to play. Waste of $4.99. Happily deleted this app today.

You can prove for yourself, that the dice are not rigged by (1) looking at the dice list beforehand (right menu, click on the small dice icon) to prove that the dice do not change during a game, and by (2) writing down a game and playing that game again, with the same dice as before, but entered as manual dice. The game will be exactly the same. So cheating is simply not possible, otherwise one of these two tests would fail.
* Low Vision board added, which can be activated in the Game Aids dialog
* Resigning a game now only offers useful options based on match points, cube value and board situation
* The network game protocol has changed, so you will need at least v6.30 to connect through GameCenter
* Optimized for iOS 26.6 and iPadOS 26.6
