Battery still drains fast even with reduce GPS

I have tried this app about 3 times now and even setting the GPS frequency to a lower setting like check every 120 second the battery still drains fast. In fact it seems to drain faster at the lower GPS check in rate than the default of 30 seconds. At 30 second it drain about 3% every hour based on a long walk. At 120 second GPS check in it drained at 7% per hour walking on the same path for the same length of time. At the time of this post, the latest update did nothing. This app is bugged and under developed and does not deserve price tag it is charged at. I will request a refund.

Hi hbios123, the battery % it's not consistent, so that's why you saw different behaviors on a similar path. i don't understand what's happening to you because with 120 seconds on my apple watch i have a 4% drop by hour that means more than 20 hours of recording. of course, as i said in the video, the always on display impacts a lot on the battery, so if you want to save it, disable it.
also you didn't tell me which version of apple watch you have.

Also one thing that maybe you didn't know: when you use the apple watch near to your phone, the watch uses the gps from the phone. Instead Ultratrack uses only the gps of your watch because it's a standalone app.
