I clicked a link in an email I received about an app I was beta testing. It said I could make $$ if I did a survey about the app. One link led to another and then I had to download this app to continue. I downloaded the app. Next I had to sign up to this app and do a quick “test” to see if I was eligible. I thought, can’t be that bad. I was wrong. It records your screen and enables your microphone. Then when you are finished the “test” you are told it will take days for them to verify your “test” and see if you passed. By the time you are verified, the survey you clicked on in the first place to make some $$, is no longer taking people. Now you are stuck with this app. Scam Scam Scam. Lure you in. Now you have an app on your phone that enables your microphone and records your screen and if you went ahead and filled out the rest while you waited for days, they now have your PayPal info as well. They should be upfront and say it will take days to maybe be approved before you download the app. Anyone that does surveys knows when them here is a $$ incentive it fills up quickly.
