- New: Share a single stop. Tap the share icon in a map sheet to send any place — on its own, or as a stop on your itinerary — through your usual share sheet. Opening the link launches Wandr and brings that stop straight up on the map. - New: Shared stop links now show the place name, its address and a preview image when you paste them into a chat, so people can see where they are being sent before they tap. - Improved: The map sheets show the walking distance directly under the address, and keep their buttons together below the text. - Improved: Shorter button labels on the map sheets, so they no longer get cut off in French, Dutch and the other languages Wandr supports.

- New: Nearby. Tap the binoculars on the map to see what’s around you within walking distance — landmarks, street art, viewpoints, museums, parks and more — grouped by category and ranked by how many people look each place up. Pick the ones you like and Wandr turns them into a walking tour, ordered so it makes sense on foot. - New: Stops and places that have a Wikipedia article now show a “Read on Wikipedia” link — on the place page, in guide itineraries, and in the map and navigation sheets. It opens inside the app, works offline, and switches to your language when a translated article exists. - New: Guide pages show the first lines of the creator’s bio just below their name, so you can see who put the itinerary together at a glance. Tap the row to open their full profile. - New: Account → App information now includes the changelog, so you can see what changed without leaving the app. - Improved: The in-app help articles are now translated into every language Wandr supports, instead of falling back to English. - Fixed: Shared guide and itinerary links now open reliably for the people you send them to, including first-time recipients. - Fixed: An itinerary with a single stop can now be shared. - Bug fixes, stability and performance improvements throughout.

- Improved: Compass, Stop Lists, and Navigate now use one on‑device walking‑time model (straight‑line segments + typical detour factor + your ETA buffer) for consistent estimates without network routing. - New: Tap the help icon next to walking estimates for a short explanation. - Improved: Auto‑sort now reorders the full itinerary using the same walking‑time logic, with fairer handling when stops are equally distant. - Removed: The old “compass distance mode” setting—unified estimates replace the separate straight‑line vs routed options.

We updated the Open Graph image used in link previews, improving how Wandr appears when shared across social apps and messaging platforms.

New: Compass navigation now tracks visited stops and keeps upcoming stops prioritized so route progress stays clear. New: In the stop list and map sheet, you can explicitly retarget to any stop in your itinerary, including already visited stops. Improved: Toolbar arrows now follow the full stop sequence while auto-targeting still advances to the next unvisited stop.

This release improves how stop actions work across navigation and makes arrival flow clearer and faster. New: Tapping a stop now gives more useful actions depending on context (start navigation, remove stop, view details, or retarget your current destination) so you can continue your route with fewer steps. Improved: Arrival actions in Compass are streamlined with clearer primary choices, especially on final-stop scenarios, so the next step is more obvious when you reach a stop. Improved: Stop subtitles and labels are clearer for stops that are not linked to a saved place, making map and compass context easier to understand at a glance. Also includes additional UI polish and minor bug fixes for a smoother navigation experience.
