The technology is new, but the Weatherology team has been around for 34 years. We have contributed to more award-winning local weather broadcasts than our largest competitors combined.
Apple CarPlay audio apps must be voice-activated and offer audio capabilities only, which is exactly what our app does. With the exception of navigation apps, content such as weather maps and radar are currently prohibited from being displayed as content on the dashboard. We are focused on creating the best hands-free audio experience in vehicles in accordance with Apple CarPlay guidelines.
Although our expertise is audio, we are meteorologists, so we offer all the tools you need to stay informed. Up-to-the-minute radar that loads quickly and zooms in to your specific location. Storm vectors that illustrate current storm location and storm movement.
We offer current weather advisory graphics with up-to-the-minute audio weather details for each bulletin.

What’s New
Version 8.3.0
We know your next adventure is important, so we've spent some time to improve the functionality and stability of the app in this update:
- Redesigned the detailed version of the current weather module to be clearer and more structured.
- Added dates to the daily forecast modules. These are enabled by default, but can either be adjusted to have a different format or disabled entirely.
- Added an approximate calculation of the wet bulb temperature to the current weather module.
- Added knots as a new wind speed unit option.
- Made several adjustments and improvements to the Maps tab to speed up loading times and reduce server data usage on our end.
- Various bugs and crashes from the previous version have been addressed and patched.
Ratings and Reviews
Voice audio playback not working
Neat feature but now no longer working. Worked once and that was it. Hard reset the phone and deleted and reinstalled the app. Still nothing. Not a lot for Canadian city’s available. Especially in my province.
