Fun, but the ads came out of nowhere

I was playing until chapter 3, and suddenly I’d get ads after opening an elite’s chest in the middle of a run! And it was every chest, so every run is taking way longer because it’s constantly interrupted by ads! Some are 5 seconds and then skippable, but most are not able to be skipped until after 30 seconds minimum. There’s no one-time purchase of “ad-free” either. They have tickets. You buy ad-skipping tickets! That would get so expensive so fast! It was a lot of fun, but that many ads (with other in-game purchases I might add) really turned me off of the game. I’d rather pay $5-7 CAD for ad free and then just enjoy my game.

What the heck happened??

It’s like the difficulty just switched to mega extreme! I’m on round 24, and suddenly I can’t kill a thing, I go back to level 10, and even then that’s a struggle now! What happened???

I absolutely hate it! I’ve “accidentally” spent diamonds I didn’t want to spend by tapping on the screen to fast forward the chest opening animation TWICE!!!
Too coincidental to believe it’s coincidence.
I’d give zero stars if I could.
