Pattern Maker: make repeating patterns like 2 red, 1 white, or start from 34 ready-made templates like Classic Christmas, Candy Cane, Diwali Diyas and Halloween. Add motion and save it as a preset. Snap a Palette: turn a photo into colours and try them on your lights before you save. Light Alerts: flash your lights when someone texts, an alarm rings or you tap a tag, then they go back to what they were doing. Set them up in Settings and run them with the Shortcuts app. Guides built in: tap the ? next to a section for its guide, even offline. You can turn the ? buttons off in Settings, under Appearance. Presets your way: give presets a colour or an emoji and pick up to 10 for the Control tab. Also new: iCloud sync for your lights and groups, playlist editing with Shuffle, a favourites filter for effects, more reliable updates on ESP8266 lights, and a safer restore when you move a backup to a different light.
