The reason I gave it 3 stars is:
The program is fair. It’s easy to use but
1. You are unable to export your work and use it with other programs.
2. You cannot engrave multiple layers and multiple pieces in one pass which makes the process take 2 - 10 times longer depending on the amount of layers you have and the amount of layer you can have in this program. If you have 3 different layers to one item, it will go over the whole piece 3 times per piece.
Definitely a big problem to fix.
This was 5 stars. The IOS update made it 1.
My business is dependant on this laser machine, with this piece of software. It was amazing! But since this latest software update, it is taking me so long to figure out where things are, how to set certain parameters, how to ignore certain output options, and frequently freezes when doing certain things within my files. I am running an ipad pro! It used to be perfect, and now it is utter garbage. There is no elegant way of putting this.
As someone who runs multiple companies, and a side hustle dependant on the xTool laser machine, I would advise the managers to fire the UI graphics team. This has clearly not been tested by peers whom could have caught this sooner. My hope is that they dont transfer this garbage update to MacOS, and just leave it as it is. Please change back to the old version. This is utter garbage.
