Does not work!
If you’ve purchased a YaleLook Door Viewer and are downloading this app to set it up, I would suggest that you return the viewer to where you purchased it and not waste any more of your time or money. The app used to work with the viewer up until about four months ago but something happened and it stopped working. I’ve spent the last four months with support and got nowhere except for apologies and reassurances that the development is trying to fix the issue. An app update was just released and it STILL DOES NOT WORK! I think it’s safe to say that the development team has completely failed! And this is not the first time the app has stopped working. I’ve had the viewer for about three years and this has happened about a handful of times and they were able to fix it after a couple of weeks. These occurrences appear to coincide with IOS updates.
Do not buy this viewer - software does not work
On October 11, I had a professional security company choose this viewer on my behalf and install it. However, Assa Abloy knew at the time that the accompanying software would not work, and they continued to market the viewer anyhow. To make matters worse, they have a ‘policy’ of no cash refunds, so I am out of pocket several hundred dollars with a device that may never work. Frankly they should be ashamed of themselves.
We were initially told 1 week for the updated software. Now it is close to a month and all we get when contacting support is a run around.
There are better, cheaper options on the market. Strongly suggest you give this device, and the company, a pass.
Not worth it
After not working and 5 phone calls/emails this is all the help I get.
