Need to bind phone number

Apparently now we need to bind a phone number to use the app because of some Singaporean regulation? I’m not Singaporean nor using the sim in Singapore so why do I have to do this? Also the esim keeps not working and you have to turn it on and off again after a while

Did not work. Slow customer service does not resolve problems. Ignores refund requests

I tried to install eSIM before boarding overnight flight. Got error message at first step of process. Contacted support and sent them order number and screen shot as requested. Waited, waited, no further response. After I arrived in destination country, I contacted them again. They eventually responded and asked for account details and screen shots again even though it was all in chat history. I waited but no further response so I bought an eSIM from another company. They eventually responded and are asking for screen shots of the settings for my sims and esims even though the installation fails at first step. I have requested refund 3 times and they have ignored all requests. I wish I could give zero starsUpdate: A couple of days after I wrote this and after additional requests, Yoho refunded the cost of the eSIM.
