Each chapter introduces new pups and kicking styles, plus obstacles like pylons and ball-stealing monkeys.

What we love: Sniffing out the solution to a tricky puzzle. Maybe your pups will need to pass the ball back and forth, deliberately shoot it into mud, or step on a molehill to distract its resident critter. There’s always a way to score—just keep digging.

Quick tip: When a pup receives a pass, it automatically turns to face the direction the ball came from. It’s a handy trick if you don’t have enough moves left to change which way your dog is looking.

Meet the creator: Based in Lodz, Poland, indie studio Afterburn was founded by married couple Luke and Kamila Spierewka. Most team members are cat lovers, but making a game about kittens chasing a soccer ball didn’t quite click, so they pivoted to dogs.
