A peaceful puzzle game
You’ll feel the weight of your day instantly begin to drift away the moment you arrive in the serene surroundings of Spring Falls. This pleasant and pretty puzzle game takes you on a tranquil journey down a mountainside, as you stop at each level to bring beautiful wildflowers to life with water.
But water is a precious resource and the further down the mountain you go, the harder it becomes to direct the flow of H2O towards those tiny buds in order for them to blossom.
Hexagonal columns make up the steep mountain; tap a column and make a path for the spring water to reach those buds. It can be tricky, but you’re under no pressure to do anything in the fastest time—Spring Falls is all about patience and enjoying the headspace afforded by the calming surroundings.
When you do get water to reach a bud and see it bloom, it’s a lovely, satisfying moment of reward. The ambient sounds of a trickling stream, gentle breeze, and drizzly rain provide the perfect backdrop. Everything you hear comes from actual recordings taken from the great outdoors by the game’s developer Eric Billingsley.
