Saving to Amano from the share sheet works again after your first 7 days. Sorry if it stopped you. • New: “Save to Amano” in Shortcuts and Siri. Your files open in Amano so you can check them before anything is saved. • Opening the app no longer flashes “Verify access” when you’ve already unlocked it.

Start in seconds with a sample ID card, then try everything free for 7 days. No automatic charge. • Get a reminder before your documents expire, offered right after you save one. • Share copies with a watermark, your signature and the date you shared them. • Import documents straight from Photos. Amano only sees the photos you pick. • Reinstalling? Restoring waits until your whole iCloud vault has arrived.

Amano now speaks Portuguese (Brazil), Chinese (Simplified) and Hindi. Expiry dates are easier to catch. Amano reads more date formats, including Chinese dates, validity ranges on ID cards and licences, and month names in Italian, Portuguese and Turkish. Text recognition is also better for Italian, Portuguese, Turkish and Chinese documents. We’ve also polished translations throughout the app.

Unlocking Amano, browsing thumbnails, searching your documents and importing files are all noticeably faster. We’ve also made saving quicker: when you only have one folder, we pick it for you instead of asking.

A clearer document screen puts key details and expiry reminders up front, with a smaller preview you can scroll. Sharing copies with a signature or watermark is easier, with clearer controls and previews. We’ve also improved the guidance for adding your first and next documents.

This update restores permanent full access for customers who first downloaded Amano before version 1.3.6, including those whose previous access was incorrectly treated as a trial. New installs now ask whether to share anonymous usage data before the introduction. You can change this choice in Settings. Face ID or passcode is off by default on new installs; you can turn it on in Settings. First launch no longer waits for the App Store access check.

A simpler Amano for your personal documents. • New customers get a 7-day full-feature trial, then an optional one-time purchase. No automatic charge. • Customers who first downloaded Amano before this trial release keep full access permanently at no extra cost. • Extract and copy useful details on compatible devices with Apple Intelligence enabled and its model downloaded. • Shared folders are being retired in favour of personal folders and personal iCloud backup. • After the trial, saved documents remain viewable and exportable as plain copies.

Your documents, easier to organize and share. • Signatures, watermarks, document widgets and the renewal overview are now free. Private folders are unlimited for everyone. • Select several documents to move or delete together. • Improved signature placement and visibility in dark mode. • Better expiry suggestions for Italian, Portuguese and Turkish documents. • Fixes for imports, Settings and document editing.

Your documents, easier to organise. • A calmer first-run flow helps you save your first document quickly. • Name and folder requirements are clearer before you save. • Expiry dates now have one simple path, with reminders available in Unlimited. • Sharing from WhatsApp and other apps now recognises your Unlimited access reliably.

Sharing, made simpler. • Faster, more reliable imports from WhatsApp and other apps. • Preview your watermark as you type, with a clearer, consistent style. • Place your signature directly on the preview and add an optional date. • Cleaner sharing controls and settings.

A clearer choice between Free and Unlimited. • Start free with 5 documents and 2 folders. Vaults containing documents when first opened in this version keep their 10-document allowance. • See what Unlimited adds when you need more space or a paid feature. • Expiry reminders remain included with Unlimited. Saving expiry dates stays free.

Syncing between your iPhone and iPad now works reliably — a new device downloads your vault by itself. If two devices ever disagree, Amano shows both copies and asks which one to keep; the other stays saved on the device, just in case. Also new: a sync history in Settings, clearer guidance when iCloud Keychain is off, and small fixes.

Sign it, seal it, send it. • Sign documents: draw or type your signature, place it on any page, and share a signed copy. Free for everyone. • Sharing, simplified: two clear questions — watermark, then signature — with your copy previewed the whole way. • Your contact card, redesigned: a business-card layout with a tap-to-expand QR at full brightness. • Plain words on the Lock Screen card, a faster unlock, and many small fixes. Thanks for keeping what matters close at hand. A rating or review helps more than you know. Also in this update: your vault now downloads automatically on a new iPhone or iPad, and a purchase shared by a family member activates right away.

A fresh look. More room. More ways to keep things at hand. • A new navy design and nine app icons to choose from. • A clearer, seven-step introduction to Amano. • Start free with 10 documents and 2 folders. • Save more file types, including videos, ZIP archives and spreadsheets. Preview supported files and play videos inside Amano. • Follow progress while files are prepared, saved securely and synced with iCloud. • Choose watermark density with visual examples and expand the preview before sharing. • See file thumbnails inside your document packs. • Share family folders with a simple copyable link. Anyone with the link can join; Unlimited is required to create or join shared folders. • Amano Unlimited includes iCloud sync, family folders, renewal reminders, watermarked copies and document packs. Thank you for making room for Amano.
