The No1 Diecast App in the world has undergone some changes. Updated graphics throughout the app. You now have the use of a calculator in the app. Good for checking diecast prices on the go. We all want to know the full cost inc postage ;) Hopefully the calculator helps you in some form. Two new manufacturers have been added to the list. These include BBR and MR Collection Models. New design on the radio button for play, stop and loading. You will need to be a F1 fan to figure out what the change in tyre colours mean. You can now read the last 20 twitter feeds on @LeighsDiary. Before you could only read the latest 3. Leigh tweets quite often throughout the day, its more appropriate to view more than 3 tweets. Some other changes include: - Speed improvements throughout - Minor UI tweaks - Bug fixes - Improved accessibility support However, download the latest version of the app and find out for yourself what the new features involve. We are on to a new version of the app. Lots of new features. Thank you for the fantastic response from the previous version. I am glad you liked the improvements. Here is the detailed description on what version 1.2 includes: The main headline feature is the diecast updates status bar included on all platforms: iPhone, iPad and iTouch. The status bar keeps you updated on the latest news from the diecast world. The Diecast Update status bar is set to refresh every hour (3600 seconds to be exact) with scrolling diecast news updates. The iPad version has a special pull down to refresh feature, so you can update it when you like. Make sure you turn the volume up as you’ll be notified via an engine sound, when the status bar refreshes ;) iPhone users are in for an extra buzz + engine sound. A lot of people who have downloaded the diecast app on iPad have asked for a keep awake function. This is now available on all platforms. You will see the toggle on / off switch near the top. This will keep the app from falling asleep. You’ll love this feature if you like to place your iPad on your desk or anywhere around the house. Constant updates 24/7, 365 days a year. Remember though if the app is kept awake it will drain the battery power quicker. Please bare this in mind. The graphics on the diecast app (on both platforms) has been updated to make it look more uniformed. Another request was locating more diecast shops in the UK. The biggest diecast retail shop chain in the UK is ModelZone. They don’t have an app, which helps you locate their 46 stores. This you’ll be glad to hear is now included in this version of the diecast app. Here is a list of 46 ModelZone stores included in this update: Aberdeen, Basingstoke, Birmingham, Bluewater, Brighton, Bristol, Bromley, Cambridge, Cardiff, Chester, Crawley, Croydon, Derby, Doncaster, Dudley, Eastbourne, Glasgow, Glasgow Silverburn, Guildford, Harrogate, Hull, Ipswitch, Kingston, Lakeside, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, London – Holborn, London – Stratford, Maidstone, Manchester, Manchester Trafford Centre, Metro Centre, Milton Keynes, Newcastle, Norwich, Nottingham, Nottingham, Peterborough, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Reading, Romford, Sheffield, Southampton, Sunderland and Swansea. A few more updates are on the app, however take a look around and explore. You'll have fun discovering them as you look around the app. Any problems, recommendations or you just want to talk about diecast e-mail: mark@webdrsolutions.com
