How does Fortress work?
When you see a Fortress QR Code, scan it. All the contacts this company intends to use to interact with you will be added to your device's set of Contacts. These can be co-workers, sales folks, Real Estate Agents, or even your Customer Support Contacts. Fortress syncs them automatically to your Contacts. Of course, to do this, we need your permission to access your contacts, but we never read, collect, or save your existing contacts. Once Fortress syncs to Contacts, you can trust all incoming texts, phone calls, iMessages, and other communications are authorized because their contact cards include the organization name, the employee name and title, phone number, and emails. This way, you can trust who is calling you is a co-worker or company representative.

1. Does your app upload users' contacts to your server?
No. Fortress never uploads your data from your contacts. This app only reads your existing contacts to ensure we do not overwrite existing contacts in your Contacts.
2. Does your app store users' contacts on your server?
No. Since Fortress never consumes or uploads any contact information, no contact data from your device(s) are ever stored in Fortress servers.
