This release adds image filtering!
We've added a classic black and white filter, two different levels of FaceBrush to smooth out your wrinkles, and Bang! a high contrast, saturated look for maximum fun.

3.2.7 14/09/2021
This is a bugfix release, which addresses an issue that prevented 12 digit German phone numbers being accepted.
3.2.5 24/07/2021
We've added configuration around hybrid mode, so instead of just offering a choice between Gif and Still images, you can offer guests the choice between Gif and Slowmo, 1 or 3 stills, and so on.
We've tweaked and improved countdown timing, so guests have a bit more time to prepare for image capture, and have a bit more warning between multiple still images.
3.2.3 22/07/2021

- Display issues on iPads configured to use Dark Mode have been solved
- Application performance is improved while capturing images: this should mean slightly better battery life at long events
- Improved layout for image capture & overlay preview on 11" iPad Pro
- Adds the option to configure Gifyyy to capture square images
3.1.7 18/04/2021
We’ve focussed on three areas for this release.
• A new Slow Motion mode!
• A long hard look performance
• Stability improvements
Slow Motion mode:
Slow-mo is a new GIF speed that uses the 60fps capabilities of newer iPads to create a slow motion effect.
We’ve used this at a few events during beta-testing, and have seen folks have a lot of fun with it.
It’s definitely a different experience from our regular gifs, so take some time to familiarise yourself with it, and decide if it’s something your clients might want.
Application Performance:
Performance and memory usage has been a big focus for this release, from reducing the amount of space Gifyyy uses on your iPad’s disk, to lowering the memory burden during events, and giving you a disk space indicator right on the Gifyyy’s home screen.
When you load Gifyyy, you can now see a quick overview of how much free disk space your iPad has remaining, as well as how much space Gifyyy is using. You will see an additional warning if disk space is running low or Gifyyy is using a lot of storage, with a prompt to free space before your next event.
Stability improvements:
We have taken the opportunity of this release to hunt down and solve as many stability issues as we could find, including the following:
• An issue that could cause crashes if events had very large numbers of images
• A crash that could occur if you hit “admin” while the app was in the middle of making an image
• A crash that affected Smooth mode on the new iPad Air
• An issue that could prevent the camera session from resuming after switching away from, and then back to the Gifyyy app.
3.1.4 23/11/2019
This release adds offline support for Overlays. This means overlays will be displayed, and watermarked into images, even if the iPad loses internet connectivity.
3.0.25 25/09/2019
This release adds "Smooth" high frame-rate GIF capture.
We have also made a bunch of improvements behind the scenes to make Trigger Upload faster and more stable.
3.0.18 20/06/2019
This release improves support for iPads with high resolution front-facing cameras, including the new model iPad Pro, improves Trigger Upload start time
3.0.12 02/02/2019
This release adds fulls support for the new generation iPad Pro, and improves performance for previous generations with high resolution front-facing cameras
3.0.10 16/12/2018
This is a bug-fix release addressing the following points
• prevent trigger upload queues getting stuck if an upload stalls indefinitely
• bugfix for shutter-priority shooting
• under-exposure warning in top left, if shutter-priority cannot expose the image adequately
• improvements to event settings synchronisation
3.0.9 16/11/2018
This release addresses a couple of bugs:
• a bug with Trigger Upload, where uploading a large number of images could stall the app
• a bug where events created before the Gifyyy 3.0 release could get stuck capturing stills forever
3.0.7 06/11/2018
Gifyyy now creates higher resolution MP4 video files, so galleries look twice as sharp
Little Red Dot: we have added a network status indicator in the top-right of the app, to show whether or not Gifyyy is connected to our servers
Sync events. Gifyyy can now sync events from your web account, so if you need to switch iPads, you don't need to re-create all your events
Better event management. You can now search through your events by name. Pinned events will always show up at the top. Removing event data from your iPad is more reliable.
3.0.6 17/10/2018
This release brings performance and stability improvements, and addresses a bug with 11 digit German phone numbers.
• Overlay synchronisation now happens in the background, instead of after an image is made.
• GIF speeds should be more reliable and consistent, thanks to some image processing enhancements
• a bug that meant the app could only accept 10-digit and not 11-digit phone numbers from Germany has been fixed.
• a bug where ending guided access mode wouldn't always bring back the "admin" button in-app has been fixed
3.0.3 06/06/2018
The still workflow now captures just one image, for less jpeg confusion! Overlays are on your iPad! You can choose to shoot shutter priority!
This release processes image overlays on the iPad. That means guests using the Gifyyy photobooth can see a preview of your overlay before they make their images
We have also added a shutter-priority shooting mode, so you can reduce the amount of motion blur that can occur. In the camera settings, choose between full auto, or three different shutter speeds for shutter priority.
Finally, we have addressed an issue that could occur if you create an event while connected to a wifi network that requires a login, but not logged in. That means creating events in conditions of uncertain connectivity is safer and more reliable than ever.
This release also corrects an issue with Trigger Upload

2.1.8 21/11/2017
We have added a hybrid mode that lets guests at events choose between capturing a series of JPEGs, and creating a GIF.
On top of that, we have added speed options for GIF capture, and a new Loopy mode!
New features aside, we have been on a serious bug-hunt with this release, so we should see much more reliable Trigger Upload behaviour, and more polish throughout the application.
