Use Record Context when you want to preserve what you were thinking, watching, debugging, deciding, or planning without stopping to type everything out. Start and stop recording with Shift-Command-R, then Hey Buffer transcribes the result directly into your current note. This update also adds a clear recording banner, live microphone level indicators, improved recording cleanup, and friendlier transcription error messages.

Smart bottom bar — The AI shortcut buttons (↓ AI, ↑ AI) now only appear when a server connection is active, keeping the interface clean when MCP is not in use.
