Observe what repeats. Notice the pattern. Change what matters. Private by design: no accounts, no tracking, no cloud, no internet required after install. Some patterns are hard to see, especially when you are living inside them. A thought returns. Energy drops after certain conversations. Resistance gathers around the same kind of decision. An unfinished loop keeps taking up space in your mind. Entropy of Us was built for the quiet space between experience, and recognition. It is a private reflection instrument for people who want to observe recurring patterns without being scored, judged, gamified, or optimized. You do not need to log everything. A few honest observations are often enough. How it works: Open the app when something repeats, feels unresolved, or leaves a trace. Entropy of Us gives you seven small instruments: - Fuel Tank helps you notice energy and decision load. - Threat Log helps you observe urgency, triggers, and activation. - Signal Check helps you notice clarity in sent and received communication. - Friction Lab helps you name resistance, drag, and hidden cost. - Loop Closer helps make unfinished commitments visible. - Response Gate helps separate hot reactions from cooler responses. - Cool State helps you observe recovery and restoration. Over time, these signals begin to reveal a shape. Not a score. Not a diagnosis. A shape that belongs to your own experience. The Mirror reflects what appears across your entries: what repeats, what changes, what drains you, what restores you, and what quietly asks for attention. It does not diagnose you. It does not define you. It does not tell you what to do. It simply helps make your own observations easier to see. Who this is for: Entropy of Us may be useful if you carry a high cognitive load, notice recurring thoughts, feel unfinished loops building up, or want a quieter way to understand your own patterns before trying to change them. It may not be a fit: If you need a task manager, habit streaks, social accountability, productivity scoring, or an app that tells you exactly what to do next. Privacy by design: - No account required. - No advertising. - No social features. - No telemetry. - No data harvesting. - No cloud storage. - Your entries remain on your device and are protected locally using AES-256 encryption. Why it was built: Much of modern software is built to capture attention. Entropy of Us was built on a different premise: technology should help people understand their experience without extracting their identity, behavior, or data. Good software should serve the user, not make the user smaller. If this instrument helps you notice something important, then it has done its job. Use it when useful. Leave it when not. I wish you well. Important note: Entropy of Us is not therapy, diagnosis, medical advice, or crisis care. If you are experiencing distress or need clinical support, please contact a qualified professional or local emergency service.
