For The Record Music Clubs (FTR MC) turns your group's music club into an app. Gather your friends, take turns picking albums, listen on your own, then come together to compare notes. No more scattered group chats and forgotten recommendations — every cycle, rating, and concert lives in one place. HOW IT WORKS • Spin the wheel to randomly choose this cycle's picker • The picker chooses two albums for everyone to listen to • Members rate each album 1–10 with written reviews and favorite / least-favorite songs • Ratings stay blind until the reveal at your meeting — no anchoring, no peeking • Close the cycle and let the recaps, averages, and history tell the story THE CLUBHOUSE • Club Radio — share what you're spinning and react to what everyone else is playing • Jukebox Showdown — a themed song battle each cycle with anonymous submissions and blind voting • Aux Battle — get paired with another member, get a theme, and go head-to-head while the club votes • Track Madness — an artist's biggest songs seeded into a bracket; fill yours out, crown a champion, then see the club's pick • The Perfect Playlist — one collaborative playlist per cycle built around a vibe, synced straight to Spotify • Best Bars — pin the lyric that lives in your head rent-free and let the club rate how hard it goes • Mic Droppers — drop a hot music take and watch the club split on the agree–disagree scale • Change My Tune — put the club on to an artist with three starter tracks and win converts • The Queue — the album backlog your picker draws from when it's their turn MORE THAN RATINGS • Song notes — save favorite lyrics, tag the vibe, and build your library • Concerts board — search live events and rally the crew with "I'm in" • Leaderboards — see who's most active, who's the toughest critic, and more • Spotify connect — auto-build a playlist for every cycle and your club's all-time favorites BUILT FOR GROUPS • Private, invite-only clubs — share a link or code, no public directory • Be in as many clubs as you want and switch between them instantly • Owner and admin roles for spinning, scheduling, and managing members • Meeting scheduling with time polls, RSVPs, and guests • Push notifications you control — reveals, mentions, announcements, and meeting reminders Whether it's a vinyl night, an album-of-the-week crew, or a long-distance group keeping in touch through music — For The Record MC keeps everyone on the same page.
