- Force Colors, under Colors, brings in the colours of your palette that the picture barely uses. Raise it to give every colour a bigger share of the picture. - Lock Color, in a colour's picker, keeps that colour in your palette when Colors, Resolution or Extract change the rest. - Pattern Ladder in Palette now keeps the picture's colours, rather than pushing the darks darker and the lights lighter. - Pressing a slider after choosing a colour no longer scrolls the panel down to the palette. - Chromatic now behaves like a real lens: the colour fringes grow toward the edges of the picture and the middle stays clean. - The presets have been tidied: near-duplicates are gone, and Halftone Dots, Topographic Map, Blueprint, Fused Mosaic and Marquee have been remade. - Choosing a preset now shows its finished look straight away. - Menus and the colour popover no longer stay behind when you scroll the panel. - SVG drawings now open, at a useful size.

- Pictures with masks render faster and use less memory. - Randomise while editing a mask is now one undo step, and Redo after Reset All brings everything back. - Typing a decimal comma, such as 0,5, now reads as a decimal. - Damaged or unusual presets now open with sensible values instead of stopping saves.

• Four new dithers whose marks change with the picture's light: Pen and Ink, Mezzotint, Dot to Line and Pattern Ladder. • Lines now has a Line Angle, so its lines can run in any direction. • Twenty-eight new presets. • Flow Lines and Flow Hatch, whose lines follow the shapes in the picture, and Crosshatch, which adds lines in more directions as the picture gets darker. • Edge Aware, a new diffusion that keeps each side of a sharp edge its own tone. • Pixel Size by Detail, under Resolution: pixels grow larger where the picture is flat and stay fine where it has detail. • Palettes taken from a picture now keep its smaller colours, and a palette of one colour prints that colour on the Background. • Six dithers that looked almost the same as others are gone. Work saved with one opens with the closest that remains. • In Palette, patterned dithers now put their marks the same way round as in Tone Ramp. Work saved this way will look different. • Sliders and the settings panel are easier to handle, and a zoomed-in picture no longer shifts as the panel moves.

• Double-tap a slider, or its name, to put it back to its default. • Sliders settle on their default as you drag past it, with a gentle tap. • The editing panel now opens to two thirds of the screen, so the whole picture stays in view above it. A zoomed-in picture stays where it was as the panel moves. • Swiping between sections and pulling the panel up and down follow your finger more closely, and a quick flick is enough. • Choosing (none) under Presets now removes the preset, if you haven't changed anything since.
