KReditor

Editor, set lists & scenes

USD 29.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Edit and organize the sounds of your Korg Kronos on iPad and Mac, with the keyboard answering as you play. • SCENES YOUR KEYBOARD DOESN'T HAVE Eight snapshots of the whole Combi, A to H: volume, mute, effects and accompaniment for each part of the song. Hold a chord and change scenes — the sounding note ends cleanly and the next one already plays the new sound. Call scenes from a pedal or MIDI controller. Saved them on the Mac? They're already on the iPad, through iCloud. • A SET LIST YOU SORT WITH A FINGER Drag a song up or down. Open a gap in the middle of the set without redoing everything, close a hole with one tap. On stage, eight big slots per page with each song's lyrics or chords in view. On iPhone, the whole show in your hand. • THE WHOLE SOUND ON ONE SCREEN No more "page 1 of 9": piano, organ with drawbars, electric piano, the analog models, FM and samples show up as knobs, all at once. Drag the filter, envelope and EQ curves with your finger. Double-tap a knob and it goes back to its original value. • COPY WHAT YOU ALREADY LIKE The reverb from that Program, the accompaniment from that Combi, the drums from another sound: bring them from any file in seconds. Turn a Program into a Combi, move a track with its effect to another Combi, link the pedal to a knob. • WAVE SEQUENCES IN MINUTES An evolving pad, a phrase on one key, a round robin that ends the machine-gun effect. Type the phrase in notes and you're done. The whole sequence in view, with the blend of the sounds drawn for you to drag. • CLASSIC FM SOUNDS Open .syx banks from classic 6-operator FM synthesizers and hear each voice on the keyboard's FM engine, one by one, before you keep the one you like. • SORT YEARS OF BACKUPS Two .PCG files side by side: drag a Combi and it takes the Programs it needs along, with a preview before anything is written. The app finds duplicate sounds, Combis playing a sound that's gone and, in your old backups, the right version to fix them. • WRITE WITHOUT FEAR Before writing to the keyboard, the app keeps a copy of what was there and checks afterwards. Changed your mind? Undo puts it back. • WHERE IT WORKS iPad and Mac from a single purchase; stage mode on iPhone. It talks to the keyboard over USB-MIDI, with SysEx enabled in the keyboard's Global settings. The app makes no sound and is not an instrument: every sound comes from your keyboard, connected by cable; without it, the app opens and organizes your .PCG and .KFX files. In English, Portuguese and Spanish. KR Editor is an independent app with its own design. It is not made, endorsed or sponsored by any instrument manufacturer. • Wave Sequences in minutes, not an afternoon. • A MIDI file becomes an accompaniment pattern, at the song's tempo.
