Maattitude is a companion for inner awakening, rooted in the wisdom of Kemet: the 42 Laws of Ma'at, passed down for five thousand years by the sages of the Nile Valley.
Ma'at is neither a religion nor a dogma. It is a way of being in the world, founded on Truth, Justice and Cosmic Harmony. Maattitude invites you to turn it into a living practice — one day at a time.
— A 42-DAY PATH —
Each cycle walks you through the 42 Laws of Ma'at, one per day. Every morning, at sunrise, a new law unveils itself: its Kemetic name, its hieroglyphic plate, its teaching and its cosmological context. You move at your own pace, from the very first glyph to the final weighing.
— THE LAW OF THE DAY —
For each law, three reflection questions reveal themselves one after another. They invite you to look at your day, your choices and your inner balance with honesty. You then record your reflection in your personal journal.
— THE WEIGHING OF THE HEART —
At the end of the 42 days comes the psychostasia: the weighing of the heart. You contemplate the path you've walked — laws crossed, domains explored, days missed. Missed days do not count against you: they simply show where your balance still wavers. A new, deeper cycle can then begin.
— YOUR JOURNAL —
Every reflection is kept in your personal library. You can return to it, read it again, and witness how your understanding of each law matures across the cycles.
— A DAILY REMINDER —
Choose the time of your reminder — at sunrise or whenever suits you — so you never lose the thread of your path.
