A fresh switchboard puzzle every day — then clock in for the timed Night Shift. Drag jewel cords between brass jacks, fill every socket, beat par, keep your streak. A vintage telephone switchboard, a grid of brass jacks, and one clean way to wire it. Patch is a daily connect-the-callers puzzle. Colored caller pairs sit in jacks on a small board, and your job as operator is to drag a jewel-colored cord from each jack to its partner. But there's a catch: the cords may not cross or share a socket, and when you're done every single jack on the board must be covered. It's a flow puzzle that has to fill the whole board. Every daily is built solution-first: the board is carved into a set of non-crossing cord paths that tile the grid, and only then are the path ends turned into caller jacks. Because a complete wiring already exists by construction, the board is ALWAYS solvable — and par is the number of caller pairs, one clean cord each. Wire it in par and the day logs under par. As the week goes on the boards get meaner: mid-week they grow and start sprouting SEALED jacks — out-of-service sockets marked with an X that no cord may route through, so you have to wire around the dead spots. From Thursday the exchange also clips on PINNED jacks: live sockets locked to a single caller's color. Only that caller's cord may pass through a pin, which prunes the easy alternate wirings and forces real deduction. By Sunday it's a dense 6×6 pocked with sealed sockets and pins. And once the daily is cleared, clock in for the NIGHT SHIFT: a timed gauntlet of escalating boards. You start with two minutes on the shift clock; every board you patch buys back time and deals a harder line — bigger grids, sealed sockets, pinned jacks — until the clock runs out. Calls patched pay brass tokens, a new best pays double, and your best shift goes in the operator's log. Clearing boards pays BRASS TOKENS, and tokens buy the Collection: eight cord palettes (from the house jewels to a neon exchange to the Moonlit Shift) and five board finishes (walnut, oxblood, verdigris and more). You choose what to unlock first and which set to run — a whole switchboard you dress the way you like. There is exactly one board a day, the same for everyone, with a spoiler-free share card and a streak to protect. Once today's board is cleared, work as many random practice boards as you like. • A fresh hand-generated switchboard every day, the same for everyone • Drag jewel cords between brass jacks; no crossing, no sharing a socket • Fill every jack — a flow puzzle that must tile the live board • Sealed dead jacks on later boards you must route your cords around • Pinned jacks late in the week — live sockets only one caller's cord may use • NIGHT SHIFT — a timed gauntlet of escalating boards with its own best-shift record • Generation-first: every board is provably solvable, with a real par • Difficulty ramps 5×5 open early week to a dense, sealed-and-pinned 6×6 by Sunday • Earn brass tokens and collect eight cord palettes and five board finishes • Climb the operator ranks from Trainee to Night Legend • Streaks, an operator's log of your record, and a spoiler-free share card • Endless random practice boards after the daily • Fully offline, no account, nothing collected Work the board.

v1.3 — pinned jacks, and the Night Shift. • New: PINNED jacks from Thursday on — live sockets clipped to one caller's color. Only that cord may pass through, so the late-week boards demand real deduction • New: NIGHT SHIFT — clock in after the daily for a timed gauntlet. Two minutes on the shift clock, every patched board buys back time and deals a harder line, and your best shift goes in the operator's log • New in the Collection: the Moonlit Shift and Carnival Wire cord palettes, and the Verdigris Exchange board finish — eight palettes and five finishes to earn • Night Shift pays brass tokens too (double on a new best) • Streaks, ranks, stats and your unlocks carry over untouched
