App uses Apple's On Device foundation models only and queries happen offline.
App also uses an On Device Object Detection model, so image analysis happens on device.
In fact you can use the entire app without a WiFi or Cellular connection !
Pic2Plate requires user to have opted into Apple Intelligence and turned it on in their device.
Generative AI is experimental. It and object detection model can make mistakes.. Check important info.
