Fixed a bug where tapping a shared countdown could just open Simple Count without adding the event. Shared events now import the first time you tap the link, even when the app wasn't already open.

Fixed a bug where a note written while creating or editing an event could be lost instead of saved. Notes now save reliably wherever you add them. The event editor also asks before discarding unsaved changes, so a stray swipe can no longer lose an event you were still writing.

NEW: iCloud Backup! Your events, notes, and photos are now backed up automatically to your own iCloud — delete the app or switch to a new iPhone, and everything comes right back. Still no account, and still private: the backup lives in your personal iCloud, where we can't see it. Turn it off or delete it anytime in Settings. NEW: Notes! Add a note to any event — tickets, addresses, packing lists — and view or edit it right on the countdown screen with the new note button. Notes travel with shared events too. NEW: Search! Find any countdown instantly by name or note — or search by emoji: mark all your birthdays with the same emoji and pull them up together, like tags. Plus: keep Simple Count in a widget Smart Stack and iOS now brings it to the top on its own as your event gets close — and follow us on Instagram from Settings (@simplecountdownapp).

Repeat any event exactly the way you want: every few days, weeks, months, or years, on specific weekdays, on multiple days each month, or patterns like "the 3rd Sunday of June, July, and August." NEW: Custom countdown reminders! Add as many reminders as you like to each event — days, hours, or even minutes before your big moment. IMPROVED: Live Activities now work reliably with repeating events, and a new notification invites you to follow the final 6 hours live on your Lock Screen.
