Cards come back when they should. - Cards you studied last night are due the next day in your own time zone, so the next morning's review is never empty. - Reminders count the cards due today and skip cards you cannot open yet. - We ask about notifications after a good moment, like finishing a round, and Settings shows whether they are really on. - Notifications now work on Mac. - A purchase or a restore unlocks Pro right away. - Grades you give offline keep the time you gave them, so your streak counts the right day. - Opening the app with no connection no longer waits on the start screen. - Editing a note while some of it is locked no longer drops the locked part.

Reading gets the whole screen. - On a phone, the note's header and tabs slide away while you read and come back on the first scroll up. Scroll bars are gone too. - Opening a note zooms out of the row you tapped, and the swipe back lands on it. - Long-press the app icon: review what's due (with the minutes it takes), continue your last note, or start a new one. - Ask Siri to start your review, open your last note, or make a new note. Your notes now show up in iPhone search. - Skip the first round on one device and it stays skipped everywhere. After three skips in a row, the round waits in the cards tab instead of opening on its own.

A card you are due to review now comes to you as a notification. Tap Show answer, then Got it or Missed. It is marked without opening the app. There is also a widget. Put one card on your lock screen or home screen and answer it right there. An answer you give on a weak connection is no longer lost. It is kept and sent once you are back online.

Your preview now shows what Pro adds to this lecture: every card front, quiz question, concept and mind map branch you are missing sits right in the list, locked. Tap any of them to unlock. Where the preview holds back the reason behind a card or an answer, you now see it marked, so you know what is there. The upgrade screen speaks in your own numbers: how many cards, questions and concepts your lecture holds against what the free preview shows. Study kits are now built by a newer model. Faster, and deeper on long lectures.

Clearer answers when a link or file cannot become notes. Each failed note now says what went wrong and what to try instead, in plain words. Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and X links that are photos or text only are caught the moment you paste them, before a note is made. Social video notes are named from the post's caption, not just the platform name. Slow web pages that used to time out now read correctly.

New: drop in a PowerPoint deck (.pptx) or a Word document. We read the slides and the speaker notes. New: photograph your handwritten notes, a whiteboard, or a textbook page. It reads handwriting. New: image-occlusion cards. Upload a labelled diagram and each card hides one label while the rest stays as context. New: mock exams over a whole folder, timed, with a report that ranks your concepts worst first. Set an exam date and get a day-by-day plan. New: export a real Anki .apkg, with your deck name and pictures. Reviews are now scheduled by FSRS, the same algorithm Anki uses. It reaches the same retention with fewer reviews than the old scheduler.
