Tracka is an initiative of BudgIT with support from the Strengthening Civic Advocacy and Local Engagement (SCLAE) Project, funded by USAID Nigeria to provide everyday citizens with access to public finance management data for engagement with public institutions and public office holders on prudent management of national resources for improved service delivery. The data provided on the app are sourced from the approved budgets of the Federal Government of Nigeria. They are mostly disaggregated capital projects data that were mined from the budget documents provided on the website of the Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget, and National Planning - https://www.budgetoffice.gov.ng/ they are strictly government data made easily available for citizens for the sole purpose of promoting participatory governance.
