CHECK WHAT YOU RECEIVED
Paste a message or website address, choose a screenshot for on-device text and QR extraction, scan a QR code, or share supported content from another app. Phone and email checks explain format and context limits; they do not establish ownership.
OPTIONAL LIVE DOMAIN CHECKS
After your consent, free live checks use Quad9 encrypted DNS security signals and public registry registration facts. Extracted domain names are sent directly to these providers, which see your network IP address. Full URL paths, queries, messages and images are not sent. Individual pages and sender identity are not verified. A block can be incorrect, and an unblocked domain can still contain harmful pages. Each source’s availability is shown.
UNDERSTAND THE EVIDENCE
See explainable warning signs, the domains involved and what could not be checked. HTTPS alone is never treated as proof of safety. Use a curated official destination where supported to take an independent next step.
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Checks start on your device, without an account. Live checks are initially off, with separate consent in the app and share extension. Optional local history saves result summaries rather than original messages or screenshots. Review consent and delete history in Settings.
VerifyNow evaluates available signals and cannot guarantee that any communication, website, person or transaction is safe. It is not a substitute for independent verification.
