- WorldTuning is now WorldSounding, an app that gathers the music of the WorldMusic series. WorldShifting, WorldWandering and WorldRushing join WorldTuning. - Layer as many pieces as you like, and show two at once with Dual Display. - Each piece can follow a shared tempo, a shared reference pitch, and the chord tones of another piece. - Recording now captures every piece that is sounding. - Every setting is now free, including recording and Listening. The difference is playing time: a piece you have not bought plays for three minutes each time you open the app. - If you bought Pro, thank you. It carries over as the 4-Piece Set: no limit on all four pieces, and no ads.

- Supports iPhone Duo. When there is a vertical bar, the four buttons move into it. - The picture always flows upward on a tall screen and from right to left on a wide one. When you turn the device, the button symbols and the sheets turn to stay readable. - The volume is now matched to other music apps (−16 LUFS on average). - The Sound and Settings sheets each remember their height and scroll position. On iPad, sheets can now be resized by dragging.

- Adjusted the first launch and Reset to sound closer to an orchestra tuning up.

- Listening (Pro): WorldTuning now hears the sounds around it — a whistle, a voice, an instrument, another iPhone playing WorldTuning — and tunes its own reference pitch to the pitch it hears. - It leaves out the sound it is making itself. Turn that off to hear how much of it remains. - The reference pitch with its note name, and meters for the microphone and the speaker, appear at the bottom of the screen. They can be hidden in Settings. - The sound is analysed on this device. Nothing is recorded, and nothing is sent. - While Listening is on, iOS plays the app as one that uses the microphone: the performance sounds somewhat different, the volume no longer goes all the way down, and AirPlay speakers such as HomePod cannot be chosen. Turn Listening off to get them back.

- A new icon. - The journey now runs along one loop of eight places, quiet at the bottom and busy at the top: Solitude, Stillness, Calm, Vertigo, Tuning, Weighty, Radiant and Rhythm. Touch a name to hear that place at its most characteristic. The top and bottom are joined, so the sound carries straight on across them. - Tuning now recreates a real orchestra tuning up, and the oboe's A can come at a steady interval. - New sound controls: Reference timing, Detune, Air and grain, Character and Partial stretch. - Choose how the performance ends: Cut off, Fade out, One by one, Let ring, Final accent, High to low, Low to high or Random ending. - Knock three times on the picture to stop or start the performance. - Audio Output: play through Bluetooth speakers, AirPlay speakers such as HomePod, or a USB audio interface. The performance also appears in Control Center and on the Lock Screen. - Recording: save exactly what you hear as a 48 kHz / 24-bit WAV file. - Pro, a one-time purchase, removes the ad and unlocks every setting and recording. If you bought Remove Ads, you already have Pro. - The bottom band of the Sound sheet opens and closes, Auto Journey can take much smaller steps, and the performance no longer stops on first launch.
