High-quality on-device transcription. Easily convert speech to text from meetings, lectures, and more. The transcription is powered by OpenAI's Whisper running locally on your device. Nothing leaves your device. You can export the transcription as subtitles too. It has a word-replacement feature to let you automatically fix common mistakes. Aiko favors accuracy over speed. It does not do live transcription while recording. It does not currently have speaker detection. Try the trial first. See website. Note: Sharing from Voice Memos on iOS 26 does not work because of a iOS 26 bug outside of my control. I don't plan to support any editing. Export the transcription and edit it in a proper text editor. ‣ Why is the app so large? The app delivers the highest quality transcription on the market for 100 different languages. Rather than asking why it's so large, the real question is how is it so small. ‣ Why is the transcription so slow? The app favors accuracy over speed. However, performance is expected to improve in the coming months. ‣ Why must I keep the iOS app open while it transcribes? iOS apps are fundamentally restricted from operating in the background for extended periods. ‣ Can I delete some of the languages to save space? This is unfortunately not possible. The model has all the languages stored together in a way that makes it impossible to remove just some languages. The AI model is not perfect and can sometimes hallucinate. This is unfortunately out of my control. The app is just using the OpenAI Whisper AI model for transcription.

manchmal funktioniert's - regelmässig aber erhalte ich komplett irritierende Reaktionen - Deutsch wird Koreanisch oder Norwegisch - oder sinnlose Leersätze in unendlicher Reihenfolge. Dringend abzuraten, so etwas zu unterstützen.

ich dachte auch, dass das ein Super-Transcriptionsproramm ist - nach vielen Evaluationen das Beste... Heute wolllte ich eine sehr persönlichen und privaten Text - nicht eben DEI-konform, aber ehrlich mir selber gegenüber - diktieren. Das Resultat hat mich schockiert und ratlos zurückgelassen: mein Text wurde nicht transkribiert, sondern ich konne nachverfolgen, wie mein 2'-Didkat übersetzt wurde in inhalts- und bedeutungsleeres "you you you...." - wirklich nichts anderes, nachdem ich nun schon seit Moaten Mails und einfache Texte absolut perfekt transkribiert hatte - allerdings noch nie "politisch unkerrekt" offenbar... Ich werde das Prgramm umgehend löschen.--There is no filter or sensoring going on in the app. The app transcribes audio no matter the content. What you are seeing is a common flaw in the AI model (Whisper) used by the app. It can sometimes struggle with text with a lot of silent parts and get stuck and just keep repeating itself. There's unfortunately nothing I can do about this, other than wait for OpenAI to fix this flaw.

Très bonne application qui fonctionne très bien sur iPhone comme iPad.Manque juste qu’elle soit traduite, et qu’on puisse sélectionner le niveau du modèle.Dommage que l’icône ne soit pas + pro, ça fait un peu enfantin.
