BeConnect is an event-based local social media app that enables users to share bundled information in the form of a digital business card with their local environment (locally visible) and to receive information from other users. By making virtual contact information (e.g. interests, social media accounts, website, etc.) visible to the local environment, a multidimensional information and interaction opportunity is created between users. This background information simplifies communication and access to new contacts. BeConnect thus leads to a maximum increase in efficiency and simplification of the previously known networking. BeConnect conglomerates all social media in one application and thus provides all the characteristic features of all platforms bundled in just one application. For the first time, BeConnect combines contact potential in the real, direct environment with digital information and thus generates a unique information basis. The BeConnect application can be used to identify unknown people, companies and offers from the direct, local environment, recognize contact potential and, if necessary, connect with them. BeConnect makes unrecognized contact potential individually recognizable virtually and thus accessible in real terms. Unlike conventional social media, which only connect people virtually, BeConnect is a further development of current social media and occupies the niche between virtuality and reality and interweaves them. This makes BC the social media of the future and fundamentally changes real networking.
