Curbdrop is a personal parking assistant that helps drivers remember where they parked their car and navigate back to it.
The problem it solves:
Forgetting where you parked is a universal frustration — especially in large parking lots, unfamiliar neighborhoods, or busy urban areas. Drivers waste time, energy, and sometimes even incur towing fees when they can't locate their vehicle before a meter expires.
How it works:
-When a user parks their car, they open Curbdrop and tap a single button to "drop a pin" at their current GPS location. The app automatically reverse-geocodes the coordinates into a street address. Users can then optionally:
-Take photos of their car or surroundings to visually remember the spot.
-Set a countdown timer (30 min / 1h / 2h / 3h) with push notifications at 15-minute and 5-minute marks to avoid parking violations or expired meters.
-Navigate back to their car using a built-in real-time compass with distance and estimated walking time, or launch turn-by-turn directions in Apple Maps.
All parking sessions are saved in a local history log, allowing users to revisit previous locations.
