I’ve played around with the app to find some ways to bypass it. So far, it works pretty well. It uses it’s own clock, you can’t change the time of your device to end the session early since everything internet related will still be blocked. The app restriction will be lifted, this can be prevented on your phone by installing their VPN. Those features are really good to see since pretty much all the other restriction programs can be cheated that way.On PC, there are some weird interactions tho, what’s app app won’t launch but spotify will. That’s not really a problem for me but those little things could be optimised.As for the iphone, it effectively blocks everything. Sadly, the VPN can simply be turned off and all the apps will work again. Maybe you could add a feature to block that? You can also uninstall the freedom app and it will end the session on your phone... PC has this covered because you can toggle something that prevents you from opening the settings. That will fix all the phones issues for me.In conclusion, i think you need to use this app in conjonction with another one that covers it’s flaws while they exist. If the devs every fix them, i think it can be used effectively by everyone except the most geeky of us (who probably have coded their own restriction program if they care about it anyway).Oh and the free version might as well not exist since you can edit the restriction in the middle of the session. I would rather have the full version for 7 sessions (you can add an email verification step or something) that would let you try the app the way you would like to use it. Unless you didn’t realise that locked mode was premium only, the free version is useless.I’ll pick up the premium version for a few months and hope that the devs fix my issues :)Would recommend! 7/10, could be a 10/10 in my eyes without the issues i described! Keep at it :)

Principally good, when it would work

I really like the App, but when i schedule a session i still find myself scolling at 21:43, when the session should have started 21:30. Then I either need to open the App for it to work or it just doesnt. And it is not that my phone is in Battery saving mode (which is another Problem). I would like it to work when my willpower is at its lowest…

5 min break feature is a game changer

The lack or breaks was the main reason I ended up uninstalling the app in the past but now this has finally changed. Thank you for adding this feature, incredibly helpful in social situations where you just want to check something really quickly or share something with friends
