I was invited by a friend to add this app. Another chat box? Sceptical at first. I’m happy I did though! You can really feel private and safe in this space. I’m advocating for this app with mixed feelings. I would like only very discreet people to share this information. We will see.

Die App bietet starke Ende‑zu‑Ende‑Verschlüsselung und legt großen Wert auf Privatsphäre, ohne die Benutzerfreundlichkeit zu opfern. Nachrichten kommen schnell an, die Oberfläche ist klar und übersichtlich, und die Einrichtung war einfach. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass keine Telefonnummer oder E‑Mail nötig ist — das erhöht meine Anonymität. Auch Gruppenchats und Medienversand funktionieren zuverlässig. Insgesamt eine schlanke, sichere Alternative zu den großen Messengern, die ich jedem empfehle, der Wert auf Privatsphäre legt.

• Added a placeholder for messages sent from a newer version of Session, which can be viewed after updating • Voice messages can now be up to 5 minutes long • Improved network reliability and message delivery, particularly on mobile networks • Fixed several Push Notification reliability issues, including some group notifications being dropped • Fixed an issue where the app could return to onboarding if its data couldn't be read during launch • Fixed an issue where deleting a group wasn't fully applied on your other devices • Fixed some issues with disappearing messages • Fixed several crashes, including one which could occur when sending a message • Fixed a number of minor UI issues
