There are obviously fake progress bars during setup. After that was done, I recorded myself cursing at the app instead of the displayed text, yet the “AI voice coach” tells me I have a great foundation or something. There was a video about a stupid smiling exercise that only god knows how it should help with my accent. The rest of the tests were locked behind a paywall that I declined.

Poor service and bad user experience

Even though I downloaded this app with the main purpose to improve my voice and the sounds when I speak, this app promoting this exact purpose, does not help any with that because these exercises made by pure amateurs can be found on YouTube for free and don’t even lower the voice even though the paid version that I used claims to analyse my voice but does a very bad job and it’s very inaccurate, especially when measuring my progress. I think even after I recorded myself hearing myself to be more rich in my voice and tone after your training session, which obviously has some effect, the progress is not measured accurately with this app and and these exercises can be found for free on YouTube so I don’t really see a reason to use this app. Furthermore I think that their business model is really scam. They offer reduced yearly subscription but once you use it for a couple months they lock you out and if you forget your password, unfortunately they don’t enable the option to reset the password. So in my case, I paid with the Apple account that my iCloud email address is the address but they won’t allow you to access your account which you paid for even though it’s still active with this very email address claiming it to be in invalid. So what they’re doing now is telling me that my email address is is invalid when I tried to reset it but when I try to login with the free 7 day trial, they claim that my email address is already to an account and that by logging in again I would automatically prolong my subscription for another year because last time I used to year and they won’t allow any other options, even though monthly subscriptions are possible on different tier level but not for me, obviously.
