Es gibt hunderte GPS-Apps. War eine weitere notwendig?
Ariadne GPS ist mehr als nur eine GPS-App.
Sie erlaubt es Ihnen, Ihren Standort zu bestimmen, gibt Ihnen den Straßennamen und die Hausnummer usw. an und ermöglicht es Ihnen, die Umgebung zu erkunden.
Was verstehen wir unter “erkunden“? Eine sprechende Karte steht Ihnen zur Verfügung. Wenn VoiceOver auf Ihrem Gerät eingeschaltet ist, erfahren Sie durch Berührung die Straßennamen und Hausnummern in der Umgebung. Wenn Karte zeigen aktiv ist, erhalten Sie durch einen leichten Druck und Ziehen des Fingers auf dem Bildschirm Angaben über die entsprechende Straße.
Ihr Standort erscheint in der Mitte des Bildschirms, was vor Ihnen liegt in der oberen Hälfte und was hinter Ihnen liegt in der unteren.
Sie können aber auch entfernte Regionen erkunden. Dazu geben Sie Straßen- oder Ortsnamen oder beides ein.
Sie können jederzeit Ihren Standort abfragen oder ihn sich durch die sogenannte Monitorfunktion automatisch in regelmäßigen Abständen ansagen lassen (siehe Anmerkung unten).
Die App hat einige weitere Funktionen, die für die Reise zu Fuß, mit Bus, Bahn usw. nützlich sind.
Wenn Sie Ihre Lieblingsorte als Favoriten in der App speichern, benachrichtigt Sie die Anwendung, wenn Sie sich ihnen nähern.
Diese App ist vollständig mit VoiceOver nutzbar und bietet Zugriff auf Informationen, die mittels Sprachausgabe normalerweise nicht zugänglich sind. Sie ist daher besonders für Blinde und Sehbehinderte geeignet.
Die Positionsangaben, die Sie durch diese App erhalten, werden über GPS und einen entfernten Server empfangen.
Diese Angaben könnten aufgrund eines GPS-Fehlers, der im Allgemeinen weniger als 15 Meter beträgt, ungenau sein. In einigen Fällen kann der Fehler jedoch wegen des Servers, der manchmal nicht antwortet, dutzende von Metern betragen (die App informiert Sie aber, wenn dies der Fall ist).
Diese App soll Sie über Ihren Standort und die umliegende Region informieren. Vertrauen Sie ihr nie völlig!

New features from version 4.0:

1. "Custom favorites":
It is now possible to give each favorite different values for what concerns distance, sounds, vibration, alert repeats, etc.;
2. "Preset profiles":
You can quickly apply a preset profile to a favorite or reset the default values. The preset profiles are: on foot, bike, bus, train, default (taken from the General settings);
3. "Active favorites":
You can now choose which favorites in your archive to monitor. Only active favorites will fire notifications;
4. "Favorite list filter":
You can show three different sets of favorites by using three buttons on the top of the favorites list:
a. "All", complete list;
b. "Customized", all favorite for which the settings were modified;
c. "active", all favorites that were activated and are being monitored;
5. "Actions on the search results":
It is now possible to apply different actions, such as Activation, Customization, Sharing, Deletion to all of the favorites in a search result;
6. "Favorite button":
When you activate some favorites or you track one of them, you can switch between the closest favorite, the closest active favorite and the tracked one and read the distance and angle for each ones. This can be done through the favorite detail button on the home screen.
In all three cases there are two other functions you can do using this button that are contextual the shown favorite.
a. "Favorite detail" (For VO users: double tap, second long);
b. "Edit detail" (For VO users: double tap, flick on any direction on the second);
7. "Quick save a new favorite":
You can now quickly add a new favorite by simply doing a long tap on the Add button on the home screen (For VO users, double tap, the second long). This will save the point without the need to open the Add favorite screen;
8. "Update location":
This button has been added to the Add favorite screen and Edit favorite screen and allows you to update the coordinate of the point stored (e.g. in edit you can update a previous bad quality value);
9. "New search in Explore area":
You can now do a new search in Explore area without going back to the home screen;
10. "Distance between two favorites":
By activating the editing mode for the list of favorites and selecting only two points, you can read the distance between the two by using the action button. This distance is the distance as the crow flies;
11. "State label in the Favorite detail":
In the favorite detail screen you can see the state for each favorite using the new label on the top, which reports the states:
a. tracked;
b. active;
c. customized.
This label will appear only if the favorite has at least one of these state enabled.
12. Swedish localization introduced;

PLEASE NOTE:
Some of the listed functionalities are only available under in app purchase.
The favorites archive structure has been updated. Everything should work fine and your favorites will be updated to the new version of the database. It is nevertheless strongly recommended that you make a copy of your previous archive by exporting you favorites before updating. If you don't know how to do this please visit the faq section on the website.

Wichtige Neuerungen
Das Interface der App wurde vollständig überarbeitet.
Eine Tab-Leiste wurde hinzugefügt.
Die Einstellungen sind nun direkt in der App erreichbar.
Es besteht nun die Möglichkeit, eine Funktion zum Importieren und Exportieren von Favoriten über einen Inn-App-Kauf zu erwerben.
Favoriten können zum Löschen und Teilen markiert werden.
Die App kann nun auch im Hintergrund laufen.
Änderungen am Interface
Home Tab:
Die Taste „Monitor starten“ befindet sich jetzt oben auf dem Bildschirm zwischen „Wo bin ich“ und „Favorit erstellen“.
Die Angabe der aktuellen Adresse und die Entfernungsangabe zum nächsten Favoriten wurden vertauscht.
Einige der technischen Informationen werden jetzt grafisch angezeigt:
a) Geschwindigkeit, horizontale Genauigkeit, Höhe (neu), vertikale Genauigkeit (neu).
b) Internetverbindung, GPS-Empfang, Erreichbarkeit des Servers
Die Töne zur Anzeige der Bewegungsrichtung und der Richtung der Favoriten wurden geändert.
Favoritenliste Tab:
Eine Taste „Bearbeiten“ wurde hinzugefügt, so dass das Löschen und Teilen jetzt direkt aus der Liste heraus möglich ist.
Aus der Detailanzeige heraus können Favoriten nun geteilt werden.
Einstellungen Tab:
Kategorien für verschiedene Arten von Einstellungen eingeführt.
In den Bildschirmeinstellungen gibt es jetzt die Möglichkeit einzustellen, ob der Wechsel des nächsten Favoriten angesagt werden soll.
In den Favoriteneinstellungen können nun die verschiedenen Töne angehört werden.
Es kann nun eingestellt werden, ob Ariadne die Bewegungsrichtung oder den Kompass zur Richtungsbestimmung von Favoriten nutzt.
In den Einstellungen für iOS-Gerät kann nun festgelegt werden, ob Ariadne GPS im Hintergrund laufen soll.
Kleinere Fehlerbehebungen
3.0 31.07.2012
Hauptbildschirm:
1. Die Tasten "Wo bin ich" und "Favorit erstellen" befinden sich jetzt in der oberen Bildschirmhälfte.
2. Der Hauptbildschirm zeigt jetzt die Entfernung und die Richtung entweder des nächsten oder eines beobachteten Favoriten an.
3. Die Anzeige der Bewegungsrichtung befindet sich jetzt auf der oberen Bildschirmhälfte neben der Kompassanzeige.
Favoritenliste:
4. Es wurde eine "Aktionentaste" hinzugefügt, die ein Menü mit den folgenden Optionen öffnet:
a) "Favorit erstellen" legt einen Favoriten anhand von einzugebenden geographischen Daten an.
b) "Beobachten abbrechen“ beendet das Beobachten eines Favoriten.
c) "Aus Loadstone importieren" importiert mit Loadstone erstellte Punkte aus einer Datei namens "ls.txt" mittels der Dateifreigabe von iTunes.
5. Favoriten in der Favoritenliste können jetzt über eine Suchfunktion gefunden werden.
6. Durch Schütteln des Geräts können die Favoriten in der Favoritenliste nach Entfernung sortiert werden.

7. Es wurde eine "Aktionentaste" hinzugefügt, die ein Menü mit den folgenden Optionen öffnet:
a) Favorit beobachten;
b. Favorit bearbeiten;
c. Auf der Karte anzeigen;

Karte:
8. Die Karte zeigt jetzt auch Informationen über Gewässer an, und ein Wassergeräusch erklingt, wenn ein Gewässer berührt wird.
9. Die Karte zeigt jetzt auch Informationen über öffentliche Points of Interest wie Kirchen, Parks und Krankenhäuser an.
10. Im Kartenmodus wird jetzt über die Ausdehnung des angezeigten Gebietes und die angezeigten Details informiert.

1. Es kann jetzt gewählt werden, wie oft ein Favorit in der Nähe gemeldet werden soll. Dies kann unter Einstellungen geändert werden und auf "nein", "dreimal" und "ständig" gestellt werden ("ständig" wiederholt den Favoriten so lange, wie man sich im gesetzten Radius des Favoriten befindet);
