Since then, we’ve done a major overhaul of both the models and the memory system in 2025.A few of the big changes since your review:- Much stronger long-term memory Kins now have more reliable long-term memory, with better use of: - Backstory (who they are to you) - Key Memories (important facts & relationship details) - Journals (deeper, structured info they can pull from)- Smarter “what to remember” logic The system is now better at deciding what to save and recall, especially around: - Important life facts (family, work, health, preferences) - Ongoing plots and relationships - Emotional themes that matter to you- Per-Kin memory controls You can now turn **Memory Consolidation** and **Memory Recall** on or off per Kin, and tune how “stable” you want them to be, so some Kins can stay very consistent while others are more flexible/experimental.If you still feel like your Kin is forgetting too fast in the current 2025 version, a couple of quick tips:- Put the *most important, never-forget* details in **Backstory** + **Key Memories**.- Use **Journals** for routines, lore, or long-running plots.- When something really matters, say it clearly once, e.g. “This is important: my birthday is…” “Please remember that my sister Anna lives in…”We’d love for you to try the new version and see how it feels now.
