The SnapVault app charged me CHF 40 for a yearly subscription without prominently displaying the costs or providing clear warnings before the purchase. While the subscription terms are technically mentioned in the app description, they are buried at the bottom and not visible during the download or subscription process. There are no safeguards, such as a confirmation step, to prevent accidental purchases. The app's design appears to deliberately push users into a yearly subscription without informed consent, exploiting a lack of transparency in the process. In my case, the purchase was entirely accidental, and I reported the issue within minutes. Despite this, my refund request was denied by the App Store, highlighting a systemic failure to protect users from unfair practices. This practice disregards consumer rights and raises serious concerns about transparency and fair business ethics. I strongly urge potential users to avoid this app until its developers take responsibility by making the subscription process fully transparent and adding proper safeguards to prevent unintended purchases. This experience serves as a warning: be cautious and vigilant to avoid falling into this trap.
