Pregnancy is the term used to describe the period in which a fetus develops inside a woman's womb or uterus. Pregnancy usually lasts about 40 weeks. Significant hormonal changes take place during pregnancy. If you have any concerns don’t hesitate to talk to your GP.
Be sure to get all the medical tests that your doctor recommends. You'll need many checkups with your doctor or midwife during your pregnancy. Don't miss any of these appointments — they're all important.

- Stay physically active.
