DEVONthink To Go is great standalone but also works perfectly with DEVONthink for Mac and across multiple devices. Synchronize your databases securely and privately over the local network or through a cloud service of your choice. You decide what data is synced, when, and where. Strong encryption makes sure that your data belongs to you, not to your service provider or us.

The sync still feels like a three legged cat is being whipped apart slowly. No value in the action but also no value in the sync as implanted. Sync simply needs to join 2025. The whole purpose of this app is sync - if this doesn’t work seamlessly, without having to check each time of the sync actually happened, what use is the amazing other features? What an awful experience. Each time I open the app, it forgot that I linked my pro license. Every…single…time. And the crashes. May be useful to be able to use the app for more than 2min without it crashing. I think with these few core issues resolved it would be such a useful combination with the desktop app. But sync and the bugs just lets the whole experience down.
This release introduces Zen mode for distraction-free reading and editing, a redesigned icon view, and an updated OCR engine with improved accuracy and language support. Create new images or edit existing pictures with the new AI image creation popover, and add notes or scan documents right from the Control Center.
Quickly navigate your databases with your favorites right on the databases list. Color groups and tags — all synchronized with the Mac — and order documents manually if needed. The chat can highlight text passages and ignores documents from databases you exclude.
NOTE: We're naming this release after the Chandra X-ray Observatory, NASA's flagship X-ray telescope launched in 1999 and itself named after the astrophysicist Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar (1910–1995). Chandrasekhar determined the mass limit above which a white dwarf star cannot support itself against gravitational collapse, laying the groundwork for our understanding of neutron stars and black holes. His work reminds us that perseverance can reveal truths about the universe even long before anyone has the means to observe them.
