Indigo is a brand new app that combines Bluesky and Mastodon into a single, unified timeline.
It can be tough to keep up with your social circles when they’re not all in one place, but Indigo makes it a breeze.
Indigo has a modern user interface that helps make common interactions faster and less disruptive, doing its best to provide you all the information you need, without getting in your way. Here’s some of the things we focused on:
CROSS POSTING
Indigo lets you post to Bluesky and Mastodon simultaneously so none of your followers misses a thing you post. It’s fast, simple and lets you add alt-text without having to change views.
TIMELINE
Indigo’s timeline combines your Bluesky and Mastodon timeline into a single feed, with subtle indicators for which service a post is coming from. The goal is for you to forget about the technical underpinnings and just enjoy all the people you follow in one place.
Indigo automatically detects when two accounts you follow are posting the same thing across both services and combines them into a single post, so you don’t have to read everything twice.
POST DETAILS
Indigo features an innovative new approach to post detail views that automatically detects threads, making them easier to read all at once. And you can quickly tap the thread ribbon to view all the replies to a given post.
You can also quick reply to posts without changing views too.
NOTIFICATIONS
Indigo’s Notification view shows you all your notifications from both services in one place. Mentions, Replies, and Quotes are highlighted while Favs and Reposts are grouped together to reduce clutter.
CONVERSATIONS
Indigo supports Bluesky’s direct messages and also provides a conversation interface to Mastodon private posts.
PLATFORMS
Indigo runs on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, so you can stay up to date on whatever device suits you best. Your accounts are synced, as is your timeline position, so jumping between devices is seamless. There’s no Apple Watch support, because no one should be reading social media on their watch and there’s no Vision Pro support because they’re stupidly expensive.

PRICING
Indigo is free to download and try out, but interacting with posts and creating posts requires payment. Our premium tier is called Ultraviolet and has monthly, annual and one-time purchase options.
Prices are regional, based on a purchasing power index and are based on the US prices, which are:
$4.99 per month
$34.99 per year
$119.99 one-time purchase
Please note that the one time purchase may not include all future features in perpetuity as ongoing and that the services, Bluesky and Mastodon, may change what features are available without notice.

We’ve been working on Indigo for quite a while now, and we’re very proud of how it’s turned out. That said, there are a million features we had to leave out of this first release, but we’re very exited to add more features and functionality as quickly as we can.

I used Croissant (same developers) to cross-post to both social networks, but Indigo offers a premium reading experience that simplifies my overall use of both platforms. It’s full of little details that show how much its authors care about the user experience. I have not opened my Bluesky or Mastodon client since I’m using Indigo. The unified experience is not something you’ll give up once you’ve tasted it.
Ideal to use both networks at once
FigureX
Makes navigating Bluesky and Mastodon in parallel way easier, especially like the logic which combines accounts and crossposts. Also, while there still are bugs sometimes, the app updates often enough to make it easy to use.
Fixes:
- Fixed selection highlight on Mac and iOS (with keyboard attached)
- Fixed rendering of posts in Quotes Interaction view
- Fixed order of notifications for DMs
- Fixed scroll to newest DM after sending
