This update prepares a refreshed app icon while keeping your EPUB reading, highlights, and Markdown export experience unchanged.

Preview your Markdown reading notes before sharing them. Canceling the share sheet now keeps your free export available. Leafmark Pro and reading statistics are also easier to find and understand.

This release updates Leafmark's App Store presentation. Reading, highlighting, Markdown export, and Leafmark Pro work as before.

Appearance settings now link straight to the App Store review page. The rating prompt also arrives at better moments and no longer lands on top of another screen.

You can now sort your library by recently opened, recently added, title, or author. Leafmark remembers your selection for the next time you open the app.

Fixed the bug that made the text creep sideways as you read, until one screen showed parts of two pages. It built up through a chapter and reset at the next one, so it looked like it came and went. It is gone. Appearance now shows which version you are running, under About.

The Font Weight control now takes effect on the page you are reading. Previously it only applied the next time a book was opened, so it looked like nothing happened until the text snapped to bold.

Free readers now get one Markdown export, so you can see exactly what lands in your notes before deciding to buy. The description now also states that vertical Japanese text (tategaki) renders as the book declares it. Fixed a crash that could happen when opening the share sheet to export.

Made it clearer how to restore your reading history: re-select the EPUB file and your restore candidates are easy to find. Also improved the restore candidates display and its accessibility.

• Your library follows you: books imported on another device now appear under "On your other devices" after a reinstall — re-import the EPUB and its highlights, notes, bookmarks and reading position come right back • Only the book list syncs (title and author); the files themselves stay on your devices • Sync is faster: changes upload before the app closes, and remote changes are picked up live

• iCloud sync: your highlights, notes, bookmarks and reading position now stay in step between iPhone and iPad • Syncs through your own iCloud Drive — no account, no vendor servers, zero setup • Deletions propagate too, and conflicts resolve automatically

• Font Weight (formerly Boldness) now adjusts in fine 5% steps • Line height can go smaller, margins can go all the way to the screen edge • The appearance panel opens compact so you can see the text while adjusting • Choose from all iOS system fonts • Landscape: text now fills the screen width, with a proper 2-column layout • Optional page numbers: pages left in the chapter (header), "Page X of Y" (footer) • Exported highlights are now named "Book Title - Author.txt"

• Bookmarks: tap the bookmark icon to save your place, jump back from the Contents tab. • Image zoom: tap any image to view full-screen with pinch-to-zoom and double-tap.

New installations now include three public-domain classics. The titles are Frankenstein, Meditations, and The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin. The empty library also links to Public Domain Library, making it easier to find more free EPUBs.

Highlighting just got smoother: • See how many free highlights you have left, right in the highlights list • Upgrade mid-highlight and the one you were making is applied automatically — no need to reselect the text • Upgrade screens now explain exactly what you unlock • Fixed a search issue that could leave the spinner stuck • More reliable sample book install on first launch
