R is a programming language and software environment for statistical computing and graphics supported by the R Foundation for Statistical Computing. The R language is widely used among statisticians and data miners for developing statistical software and data analysis

Limitations:
- Internet connection is required for compilation
- Maximum program running time is 20s
- One file can be run at a time
- Some file system, network and graphics functions may be limited
- This is a batch compiler; interactive programs, for instance swirl, are not supported. If your program provides an input prompt, enter the input in the Input tab prior to compilation. See the Reference tab in the app for code examples.

Need help please

Where can I find my variables and the console, please?

Hello, this is not R Studio. It’s a command-line compiler. You simply write your codes to be executed and get the results.

I realy like the app: it‘s very easy to code and test R-Code. And even the plots are working very well!

The only thing I’m missing is the iOS file system integration.

The app is actually integrated with the iOS Files app. In this app, select the file name->Open. Select the Drawer icon on the top left and select iCloud Drive. Files created in the iCloud Drive will be visible in the ‘R Compiler’ folder in the iOS Files app. You may also contact us at info@kappsmart.com for more details.

Very useful

I am not a professional user and still learning how to use R. This app however helps a lot, when you want to finish or continue a file on your iPad.

I would appreciate some keyboard shortcuts to change windows from „source“ to „output“ or similar. So I wouldn‘t need to use the Touchscreen everytime. Being able to have multiple files open similarly in Tabs would be nice as well, but not really necessary.

Thank you for your suggestions! In the latest version, several shortcuts have been added when connecting an external keyboard. For example, you may switch between tabs using ⌘1, ⌘2 and so on. The Reference tab shows the list of shortcuts that are supported. As for having multiple files open in Tabs, we shall consider adding this feature or something similar in the future.
