Screeny makes screen capturing easy and gives you the freedom to capture your videos or images at any size. You can click & drag to resize the capture area or input the exact pixel dimensions to set to the size of the capture area. All the while you will get instant feedback on the capture area's current pixel dimensions.
Screen casting just got a billion times better with Screeny. Now you can capture a specific portion of your screen, rather than having to record your entire desktop. This can drastically reduce video file size and bring focus to a specific portion of your screen. You can even include a video feed from your web-cam inside of your screen cast!
NOTE: Screeny ONLY works in OS X Lion (10.7) and higher.

I feel lost in this app.- I don't know where my videos are saved to (and I can't configure it)- Recording just starts after clicking (no chance for getting the pointer to the right place)- Upload just possible via CloudApp (why not others?)- Low functionality.- I can't send feedback (so I do it here)There's room for improvement. But a good start!

"konnte nicht ausgeführt werden" hat also rein gar nichts funktioniert. hatte erlaubnis in der systemeinstellung.

Ich hatte Screeny noch gratis bekommen, aber 15 Franken (oder überhaupt Geld) dafür zu verlangen grenzt an Betrug. SCREENY KANN WENIGER, ALS DIE IN MAC OS X EINGEBAUTE APP "QUICKTIME PLAYER X". Tatsächlich: Man starte den QuickTime Player, gehe dann zu File (Ablage) > New Screen Recording. Hier kann man den Speicherort auswählen, wählen zwischen ganzem Bildschirm oder Ausschnitt, einen Film mit iSight-Kamera machen… und alles schon im Betriebsystem integriert. Screeny ist genau dieselbe App, einfach mit einem größeren Rec-Button und weniger Funktionen. Unglaublich, dass sowas überhaupt zugelassen wird…
