I started using this app in 2017 and paused until last winter, when I decided to purchase a Pro subscription. I completed most courses, which are ok (though there were many bugs, which is kind of ironic), but there are better apps and resources out there. The thing that really killed my joy was when they introduced the Max subscription and kept pushing their ads for that everywhere.Thanks for the ride, but I‘m definitely leaving, and advise others to pick a different place to learn how to code.

I should give 5 stars for the content but I put 2 stars in the review for the service to balance the other ratings and draw the attention. I bought the Plus subscription to be able to access the full content. Three days after what does Sololearn do? Introduce ads to bloat and disrupt the learning process and heavily advertise in my face the Max subscription. Way to go and retain your users, Sololearn. Epic fail. What is then the point of the expensive Plus subscription - access the practice AI? No thanks. Also, not all content is suitable for microlearning. Take SQL for example. A super non intuitive language after the fourth lesson. The app tries to make it interactive but leaves all users confused (just read the comments at the end of the microlessons). Subscription cancelled.
